Kolkata Change Makers (KCM) is a growing community, looking to implement positive change in the city of Kolkata. These largely focus on topics that fall at the intersection of environmental & social justice, in line with the vision of Veditum India Foundation.
The Kolkata Change MakerSpace [at Veditum’s office] regularly hosts monthly circles, workshops and interactive sessions led by experts, active members of the KCM community, and also by Veditum’s wider network of collaborators.
We also collaborate with partners across the city on various projects.

Recognising the importance of creating third spaces in the city, the community, frequently hosted at the Change MakerSpace, aims to provide a place where citizens concerned about the environment, legal systems, and questions of justice can come together to talk, listen, and reflect on issues that impact their everyday lives.
KCM is an invitation to those engaged in this work to know that they are not alone. It is grounded in the belief that when curious and committed people come together, new possibilities for thoughtful action can emerge.︎
